Nicole is a renowned Choral Arranger. Her work is much in demand with other choirs and musical directors and she is regularly commissioned to write new arrangements for a variety of choirs, vocal groups and ensembles.
Nicole’s work is truly unique and offers a fresh, contemporary approach to choral music. She brings passion for the music coupled with vision, imagination and originality. She believes strongly in involving each vocal section in the piece and giving each group a chance to shine. Harmonies are melodic, memorable, singable, blendable and ultimately stunning.
Each piece is unique and tailored to the specific group she is writing for. Nicole is particularly gifted at taking what is conventionally thought of as a solo piece – for example “Gethsemane” from “Jesus Christ Superstar” and re-imagining it as a full SATB choir piece. The work becomes something new; Nicole’s arrangements breathe new life into songs that may have been performed many times before. Nicole’s passion for modern musical theatre also means she specialises in unusual, unconventional songs which somehow in her hands become instantly accessible, exciting and original.
